Countdown to our first beer festival of 2011 begins

Another sunny day...

As of 5pm tomorrow, we will have the beer festival open. Around 30 beers at any one time as well as our usual set-up inside. Beer list is being complied and printed, watch out for a special one called 'Jethro's Delight'!

The floor has been sealed and the flooring will be laid over the weekend/Mon-Tues. We will be serving food from Fri 22 April. The 'conservatory' will be in use from Thurs 21st.

Monday 11 April

Well we are still waiting for the floor to be ready to have the the flooring put down. There are meters monitoring the dampness and hopefully it will be low enough tomorrow!!! Watch this space.

The garden was well used over the weekend and the weather was good.

The Garden is open!!!!

As from 4pm today the garden is open. You have to go down the passageway as there is no access from the pub yet. The man with the meter will be letting us know today or tomorrow if the floor is dry enough to lay the final flooring. If it is then hopefully the 'conservatory' will be open by next weekend.

The kitchen will be open at some stage, we will start re-fitting it when the flooring has been done

Happy Mothering Sunday to all.
Hopefully we will have a kitchen ready to go in a couple of weeks. I am not going to give any dates for the conservatory and garden as things keep changing

The Licher weizen is going very well, if you try it, please give us feedback.

Sat 2 April

Well folks. Hopefully we will be open next weekend although without the kitchen. We are waiting for the floor to be dry enough to lay the top flooring. The doors are being fixed and lots of painting is being done today. The floor in the tap room should be done next week so lots more beers will be available.
