Building update

Hi Folks

Just to remind you that we are finishing the building work during March so are closing at 11pm on Sat 25th Feb (Tomorrow) we are hoping to be open with a bar in the marquee from noon on Mon 5 March, hopefully it will be sooner.

Food will be available as the kitchen will be open

Next beer festival 28 March to 1 April while we still have the marquee

The Anniversary of the Invention of the Hot-Dog

Tonight we will have hot-dogs on the menu and lots of American beers for you to enjoy, including

Also don't forget the quiz on Wed at 8.30pm in the marquee and on Monday 6th Feb it is St Amand's Day who is the patron saint of brewers so we have a couple of local brewers who are going to come and have a chat about brewing and let you try some of their beer, starts about 7.30pm

A long gap

Sorry folks, Jethro started doing this but then we got busy/er and he sort of stopped.

We had lots of new and interesting beers over Christmas and the New Year, we also tried a couple of new ones at the beer festival this weekend at USSC in Mill Lane.

The beers we have available now and over the next few days are as follows.

Newby Wyke - HMS Warrior 5%, Titanic - Iceberg 4.1%, Oakham - Inferno 4%, Hop Monster - Warlock 4.5%, Old Cannon -  .Black Pig 4.2% (Nothing to do with Capt pugwash, as far as we know),
Green Tye - Albion 3.6%, Woodfordes - Wherry 3.8%, Nethergate - Dewdrop 3.9% and Titanic - Mild 3.5% are on at the moment

We have increased the range of bottled beers to include beers from Delaware,New York, Hawaii, Utah and California
